KeymasterAlessandra Belloni Tarantella Spider Dance Sampler Act One
At the 2007 December Solstice in New York City, a bit of magic was made. The clips in this sampler were culled from the video of this amazing performance, which chronicles the history of the Tarantella or “Spider Dance”. The show in two acts was developed and produced by international frame drum sensation and Remo Signature Series Artist Alessandra Belloni. Together with an outstanding cast of singers, dancers and musicians, Alessandra has created a memorable and moving new show, the likes of which have not been seen since Riverdance. Using historic narration with a variety of classic folk dances and a combination of traditional and modern musical treatments they have created a new sensation…the “Techno Tarantella”. Here is a sampling of clips from Act One. Act Two is posted in a separate video.
